Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian is leading the 2013 World Chess Championship's Candidates Tournament after round 3.

Aronian’s tie with Norway’s Magnus Carlsen was followed by wins over Israel’s Boris Gelfand and Ukraine’s Vassily Ivanchuk.

Russia’s Peter Svidler has scored the 2nd spot, followed by Carlen.

With March 18 as a day of rest, the March 19 pairings are as follows:

Magnus Carlsen (Norway) - Alexaner Grischuk (Russia), Teimour Radjabov (Azerbaijan) - Vladimir Kramnik (Russia), Boris Gelfand (Israel) - Vassily Ivanchuk (Ukraine).
