Pope Francis met with heads of different states, including Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, following the inauguration mass.

Journalist Ulysse Gosset, who prepared a commentary for BFM TV, noted that Armenia plays a special role in the Christian world, as the first country to have adopted Christianity as a state religion.
