Obama expected to press Netanyahu over Iran

U.S. President Barack Obama is expected to stress to Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his visit to the region this week that the Iranian issue is an international one and not solely an Israeli one, therefore Jerusalem should allow the U.S. to lead the negotiations with Tehran as well as military steps if needed, The Jerusalem Post reported citing Channel 10.

Obama is also expected to present an itinerary regarding the continued measures concerning the Iranian nuclear threat, the Channel 10 reported said.

The U.S. intends to continue the talks that started in Kazakhstan last month and if these measures fail, increase sanctions imposed on the Islamic Republic. Washington is expected to present their proposal to Tehran again following the presidential elections in the Islamic Republic in June.

Should all of these diplomatic measures fail, Washington will start preparing a military move to be executed in the fall, according to Channel 10.
