Armenia’s Greco-Roman wresters Rafik Manukyan (74 kg) and Artur Shahinyan (84 kg) beat Sweden’s Jan Jersgren and Poland’s Damian Janikowski respectively to make it to the 1/8 finals of the European Championships.

Manukyan and Shahinyan will next be facing off against Seref Tufenk (Turkey) and Peter Bacsi (Hungary).

In the Sunday, March 24 1/8 finals, Armenia’s Sasun Ghambaryan will fight against Tero Valimaki (Finland.)
