Samsung, Usain Bolt team up to launch NX300 WiFi-enabled camera

Samsung has teamed up with Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt to launch its NX300, Digital Spy said.

Unveiled at CES in January, the WiFi-enabled camera features a superfast shutter speed of 1/6000 sec and can shoot up to 8.6 continuous frames per second.

The compact shooter also comes with a range of smart camera features such as the Hybrid Auto Focus system, which allows users to achieve the most precise results at the push of a button.

"Our aim with the NX300 was to develop the best camera ever made for the everyday camera user, and by combining superior hardware with enhanced features designed exclusively for professional photographers, we believe we have done just that," said Samsung's head of digital imaging Nick Porter.

"Our NX range has been extremely well received since it first launched and this latest model is a worthy successor to the original."

As part of their affiliation with Bolt, Samsung will provide photography lessons and equipment for aspiring young photographers as part of the 'NX Junior Photographers' campaign.

The Samsung NX300 will be available from John Lewis and Dixons at the end of March.
