Lithuania-Artsakh parliamentary friendship group maintains permanent contacts with Stepanakert, a Lithuanian MP, one of the initiators of the group said.

As Dalia Kuodyte told PanARMENIAN.Net, joint projects will be discussed in near future.

Dwelling on the Azeri threats, Ms Kuodyte noted that the latters forced a parliamentarian into leaving the group. “At present, the group includes 11 members, none of them is going to leave,” she said.

As she noted, the creation of the parliamentary friendship group prompted increased activity in Azeri embassy. “There is some pressure on Azeri side, but not as strong as it may seem,” the MP said, also noting that threats or pressure will be unacceptable, should the Azeri side seek to negotiate.

The friendship group for strengthening interparliamentary ties with Artsakh was created on Match 15 in Lithuanian Seimas.
