Zac Efron, Chris Rock and Bridesmaids star Melissa McCarthy have signed on to present at this year's MTV Movie Awards, Digital Spy said.

Star Trek actors Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana and Zachary Quinto will also be there to give out trophies.

The show will be hosted by Rebel Wilson, who has previously revealed that she would like to reunite the cast of Pitch Perfect at the ceremony.

Ted and Django Unchained are the top-nominated movies at this year's show with seven nominations each.

It has also been reported that Will Ferrell will be honoured with the first ever 'Comedic Genius Award' at this year's MTV Movie Awards.
