Today Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian met with Italian MP Vincenzo Siniscalchi being in Armenia to take part in the festivities marking 15th anniversary of the Armenian Parliament, reported the Press Service of the Armenian MFA. Italian Ambassador to Armenia Marco Clemente was also present at the meeting. The parties exchanged views over the Armenian-Italian bilateral relations, that develop dynamically recently. Within that context V. Oskanian emphasized the importance of the Days of Armenian-Italian Friendship, which are a success and prove the centuries-old friendship between the Armenian and Italian peoples. The parties also noted their joint work of reconstruction and preservation of historical monuments in Armenia. V. Oskanian and V. Siniscalchi discussed opportunities to strengthen relations between the parliaments, as well as Armenia's Euro-integration and regional issues.
