Turkey has made another achievement in denial of the Armenian Genocide. Turkish historian Turkkaya Ataov has allegedly «discovered» 40 documents that «in the best way disprove» there was an Armenian Genocide. Ataov holds «200 Armenians were allies of western troops against the Turkish army» during the World War I. «There are only 65 thousand American servicemen in Iraq today and 200 thousand is a considerable figure,» the Turkish historian stated. Ataov has attained these documents from foreign libraries and archives. Ataov remarked he could not say where those libraries were, however he was afraid that «Armenians would try to destroy them.» Turkkaya Ataov is one of historians, paid by the Turkish army, who play a key role in denying the Armenian Genocide.
