There are 4428 registered drug addicts in Armenia, with 32 women among them, rehabilitation center director said.

“The number of addicts grew by 30 % in 2013 as compared with 2012,” Petros Semerjyan said. He cited social, legal and psychological problems as drug addiction causes in Armenia.

Psychologist Samvel Khudoyan, in turn, noted strong will along with proper treatment as effective tools to the problem solution.
