IWF Youth World Weightlifting Championships are ongoing in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), with 7 female weightlifters to represent Armenia.

Tsovinar Kirakosyan (58 kg) will perform on April 10, with Rozalya Avetisyan and Aghunik Hakobyan (63 kg) to perform on April 11.

Sona Poghosyan and Tatev Manukyan (69 kg) will perform on April 12, with Arevik Mirzakhanyan and Hripsime Poghosyan (69 kg) to perform on April 13.

In conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, chief coach of the Armenian women’s team Artashes Nersisyan earlier noted the championships as the first major international event for the athletes.
