A trailer for Rush has been released. The Ron Howard-directed biopic stars Daniel Bruhl as legendary Formula 1 champion Niki Lauda, who in 1976 was involved in a crash that almost killed him, Digital Spy said.

Only weeks after the accident, Lauda returned to racing in order to challenge his long-standing rival James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth).

The new trailer is released by MSN Movies.

Olivia Wilde, Natalie Dormer and Tom Wlaschiha are among the supporting cast of Rush, which is written by Peter Morgan (Frost/Nixon, The Queen).

Rush opens in the UK on September 13, and in the US on September 20.
