Acting Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met April 11 with First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Karel Schwarzenberg.

Bilateral relations, EU-Armenia cooperation and regional issues were in the focus of the discussion, with Mr. Nalbandian briefing his counterpart on the latest developments of Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement.

Yerevan-hosted Armenian-Czech business forum was further discussed, with the sides pledging to take additional efforts aiming to deepen economic and trade cooperation.

Ms. Nalbandian highly assessed the bilateral ties, hailing the operation of diplomatic outposts in Armenia and Czech Republic. Karel Schwarzenberg further stressed the importance of the business forum, noting Armenia’s development prospects in the region.
