Nokia rolls out software update for Lumia devices

Nokia has rolled out a software update for its Lumia 920, 820 and 620 handsets, introducing numerous tweaks and bug fixes, Digital Spy said.

The high-end and mid-range smartphones will receive improved automatic display brightness adjustment and have an intermittent screen blanking issue corrected.

Performance and stability issues for the Lumia 920 and 820 have also been introduced, while the budget 620 receives a more substantial update.

The low-cost device now features improved multi-touch functionality, along with enhanced voice quality through Bluetooth headsets and camera performance.

Nokia has issued the updates globally today (April 12), but it is expected to take up to several weeks before all users receive them.

A new addition to the Finnish firm's flagship range was recently outed in the shape of the Lumia 928, which is said to be a lighter and thinner version of the Lumia 920.
