Armenian junior freestyle wrestling championships are over in Yerevan, with 29 athletes participating.

In conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, the team coach Arshak Hayrapetyan announced the names of the winners: Hayk Badalyan (46 kg), Vahe Martinyan (50 kg), Gevorg Tadevosyan (54 kg), Ashot Velitsyan (58 kg), Hakob Avetisyan (63 kg), Tigran Mnatsakanyan (69 kg), Sargis Hovsepyan (76 kg), Razmik Poghosyan (85 kg) and Meruzhan Mkoyan (100 kg).

According to Mr. Hayrapetyan, the team will further start trainings for the international tournament, due on May 4 in Iran, with 15 Armenian wrestlers to participate.

The athletes will afterwards represent Armenia at European championships, scheduled for July 17 in Montenegro.
