President of the Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic Bako Sahakyan issued a congratulatory address on occasion of the Day of Police marked on April 16.

“The Day of Police is a holiday which represents another occasion for evaluating the past, referring to the work being carried out and plans for the future,” President Sahakyan said.

“Since its foundation, Artsakh Republic Police have been effectively carrying out their responsibilities of protecting legality, public law and order, rights and interests of the citizens. The assigned tasks require much more responsibility and are of crucial importance as our aim is to build a democratic state, where everyone will feel safe and secure under the supremacy of law. That is why the requirement standards of the structure’s activities are extremely high,” he said.
