Ukrainian parliament speaker Vladimir Litvin and Chairman of the Armenian National Assembly Artur Baghdassaryan signed a memorandum on cooperation between the parliaments of the two states. According to press secretary of the chairman of Ukrainian Supreme Rada Igor Storojuk, the parties referred to the principal directions for deepening the cooperation. Artur Baghdassaryan and Igor Litvin exchanged views on the political situation in Ukraine and Armenia. They also agreed on the necessity of cooperation within interparliamentary organizations noting that parliamentary friendship groups do not use their potential in corpore. Upon the outcomes of the negotiations Litvin and Baghdassaryan signed a Memorandum on parliamentary cooperation. The document sets the mechanism and ways of activating bilateral parliamentary cooperation, reported Ukrainskie Novosti.
