Constitution Amendments to Regulate EU-Armenia Relations
New amendments to the Constitution of Armenia that provide for reduction of President's authority and admit dual citizenship will regulate the relations with the EU, reported Armenian Honorary Consul in Yekaterinburg Artashes Chilingaryan. In his words, according to preliminary data, some 2 thousand Armenian citizens living in Ural will take part in the referendum on reforms of the Constitution of Armenia.

He said only one electoral station will work in the Ural Federal District. "Diaspora, local authorities and law-enforcement bodies pledged assistance in the holding of the referendum," Chilingaryan added. As reported earlier, residents of Kurgan and Chelyabinsk regions have applied to Armenian Consulate in Yekaterinburg. Chelyabinsk Governor has promised to assist the Armenian community in transporting voters, reported Interfax.
