Armenian community of Varna to mark Genocide anniversary

The Armenian community of the Bulgarian city of Varna will hold a number of events Wednesday, April 24, to mark the 98th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

According to Nerses Ketikian, the founding editor of Gantegh Araratyan website of the Armenian community of Bulgaria, a divine liturgy in St. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church will be followed by a commemoration at the monument to Genocide victims in the church yard.

A march and wreath laying ceremony will be organized in the evening.
