Yerevan to host Eurasian youth conference

On April 26-28, Yerevan will host “Step Forward” 1st Eurasian youth conference, with delegations from Armenia, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan and Georgia to participate.

The program will feature roundtables on the problems of the Eurasian integration, common cultural heritage as a contributing factor as well as the problems of maintenance of cultural diversity. The event will bring together CIS youth organizations, social workers and politicians.

The conference will also feature EXPO-2013 as an open platform to highlight the participating countries’ technical achievements. The event envisages signing of an agreement aiming to create a new movement, with young participants of different countries backing the idea of the Eurasian integration, Tekeyan Centre reported.
