CoE Education Ministers’ conference approves Armenia’s offers

Helsinki hosted the 24th standing conference of Ministers of Education of the Council of Europe member countries, with Armenia’s delegation led by acting Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan participating.

The educational priorities of the Council of Europe were on the agenda, with Mr. Ashotyan delivering a speech about the quality of education, corruption risks, education management and inclusion of Armenia’s offers in the final document of the conference.

Armenia’s offers regarding the conduction of studies by CoE educational institutions and the education-related problems of Europe-based people were unanimously approved during the ministers’ standing conference. Armenian acting minister noted that the final document expressed the CoE member-countries’ political will on boosting the level of education and provision of equal opportunities.

Meetings with Ministers of Education of Andorra, Finland and Germany were also on Mr. Ashotyan’s agenda.
