Armenian President meets Australian ambassador

Newly-appointed Australian ambassador Paul Myler (residence in Moscow) presented his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.

President Sargsyan congratulated the envoy on the appointment, voicing hope that he will contribute to the development of Armenian-Australian relations. He also expressed gratitude to the executive and legislative bodies of New South Wales for the support to the Armenian Genocide recognition campaign.

Ambassador Myler, in turn, pledged to deepen Australian-Armenian ties during his term in office.
