Arsen Manukyan wins world jiu-jitsu championships

Armenia’s Arsen Manukyan (56 kg) scored three victories to win Russia-hosted 4th world jiu-jitsu championships.

The championships brought together athletes from 26 countries. Ishkhan Hovhannisyan also represented Armenia, however, he dropped out of the championships.

“I started practicing jiu-jitsu at the age of 5. Ruben Tsaturyan is my coach. Ruben Kolyan, world championships winner, advised me to train hard for international tournaments,” Manukyan said.
