Erdogan speaks on phone with Cameron, Hollande

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan had separate phone conversations with his British counterpart David Cameron and French President Francois Hollande, according to Anadolu Agency.

Sources in the Turkish PM’s office said bilateral relations and international issues, primarily Syria were discussed.

Mr. Cameron phoned Erdogan to invite him to the Conference on Somalia to take place in London next week. Erdogan, for his part, said he will be unable to attend and will send Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu instead.

According to AA, the conversation with French President Hollande focused on cooperation in the energy field, bilateral relations and Turkey's EU accession talks.

Erdogan and Hollande both hailed the progress in bilateral relations and exchanged views on the situation in Syria and Mali.
