Iran has denied on Monday, May 6 that it supplied the missiles targeted by an alleged Israeli strike in Syria, reportedly meant for Hezbollah militia in Lebanon, according to The Associated Press.
"Basically speaking, the Syrian government does not need Iran's weapon assistance. These types of reports mostly serve psychological and propaganda campaign," a senior Iranian general said.
Iranian Deputy Chief of Staff Brig.-Gen. Seyed Massoud Jazzayeri added that Hamas and Hezbollah have "military capabilities [that] are totally home-made" that allow them to defend themselves "against any kind of aggression."
