Michelangelo Exhibition showcased at Denver Pavilions

The Michelangelo Exhibition is open at Denver Pavilions located in Downtown Denver, PR Newswire reported.

The Michelangelo Exhibition, on loan from the Museum of Leonardo da Vinci in Florence, Italy, contains a series of Michelangelo's most important sculptures, which are original cast reproductions created directly from the Master's works by the National Academy of Cast Making in Florence. The intention of the Exhibition is to provide visitors with an unparalleled experience by immersing the viewer into the daily life of one of the greatest artists of the Italian Renaissance.

The Exhibition is divided into five themes: Michelangelo's Life Story, Sculptures, Paintings, Architecture and Artist's Bottega. Each theme immerses the viewer with some of Michelangelo's most famous works of art including a life-size Pieta, Bacchus and head of David. Additionally, life-size reproductions of major focal points of the Sistine Chapel are on display in the exhibition's fresco room.
