Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan met his Belarusian counterpart Leonid Zaitsev to discuss import of agriculture equipment.

According to Karapetyan, Armenia’s agriculture sector is in need of equipment upgrade, with the country interested in the import of Belarusian tractors or their assembling in an Armenia-based joint enterprise.

In this context, the Belarusian Minister invited Karapetyan to participate in the international exhibition of agriculture equipment to be held in Minsk in June, Armenia’s Agriculture Ministry press service reported.
