Aliyev Made Official Order to Forge History of Armenia and Azerbaijan
Participation of the Azeri President in propagating inter-ethnic war in person evidences that the sustained rich tradition of replacing the social science with pseudo-scientific political propaganda, stated Plenipotentiary Minister and Extraordinary Envoy, full member of the Academy of Military Sciences (Moscow), scientific expert on counter-terrorism of US National Defense University (Washington) Hayk Kotanjyan. Spokesperson of the Defense Minister of Armenia, colonel Seyran Shahsuvaryan told PanARMENIAN.Net. In H. Kotanjyan's words, President Ilham Aliyev continues the tradition of the cult of «the father of the nation», created and supported in Azerbaijan since the time of the Soviet Union. «Just imagine President Ilham Aliyev as First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Azerbaijan and everything will be clear. The monopolist leader of the political center of Asian despotism makes a political order to totally replace the achievements of world fundamental science on the history of South Caucasian peoples with political propaganda,» the expert noted. The essence of the danger lies in the leader of the neighboring state publicly and officially making an order to forge scientific facts on the history of Armenia and Azerbaijan at a scale world history. In other words, the order he has given to the Academy of Sciences is a program of creating sources of falsified history of peoples of the region. The promotion of those sources with the financial support should undermine trust towards the recognized transactions of the world science in that field, Mr. Kotanjyan said.

It should be reminded that December 14 this year, on the day of arrival of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, Azeri President I. Aliyev urged Azeri scholars and respective institutions of the country to involve in the program of grounding absence of historical rights of Karabakh Armenians to their native residence land - Artsakh. President Aliyev promised to large subsidies for a program of unification of efforts of Azeri specialists to work out and propagate a thesis that "Armenians, being guests, who appeared in Karabakh in 70th years of the 19th century, do not have any rights to the territory of Nagorno Karabakh."
