PACE Winter Session to Be Held 23-27 January 2006
The winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will be held 23-27 January 2006. The PACE President, judges of the European Court on Human Rights and PACE Committee members will be reelected at the session. The development report of the Bureau and Permanent Committee, speeches of the head of the Committee of Ministers and Secretary General will be heard. Latvian MP Boris Kilevsk will make a report on the refugee and displaced persons record in Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia. Besides, the issue of parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan November 6 is also included in the agenda. According to PACE Monitoring Committee Co-Rapporteur on Azerbaijan Andres Herkel, he will also propose discussing the issue of the mandate of the Azeri delegation to PACE.
