“The Land’s Memory. Artsakh” exhibit opens in Stepanakert

On May 25, Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan attended a solemn ceremony of the opening of “The Land’s Memory. Artsakh” archaeological exhibition in capital Stepanakert.

President Sahakyan stressed the importance of carrying out archaeological excavations in Artsakh on a high professional level, adding that the process should also involve foreign experts.

According to the President, the implementation of such activities in Artsakh is important from scientific, cultural and political perspective.

Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, chairman of the National Assembly Ashot Ghulyan and other officials also took part in the event, Central Information Department at Artsakh President's Office reported.
