Prince Charles's Alley to open in Dilijan

An alley of plane trees named after HRH The Prince of Wales will be planted in Dilijan. A certificate marking the opening of the Prince Charles Alley was awarded to His Royal Highness by the founders of Dilijan International School, Veronika Zonabend and Ruben Vardanyan.

The certificate was awarded during Prince Charles's private visit to Armenia as a guest of Armen Sargsyan's charity initiative "Yerevan, My Love!" at an event held at the Matenadaran Institute of Ancient Manuscripts. After familiarizing himself with the Institute's collection, Prince Charles was given a presentation about Dilijan International School (DIS), which will be opening its doors in September 2014.

65 plane trees will be planted in Dilijan. A plane tree is a symbol of Dilijan International School, press service of Dilijan International School of Armenia reported.
