Baku: Oskanian-Mammadyarov Meeting - Advance in Prague Process
Head of the information department of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Tair Tagizade stated that Baku "rates the London meeting of the Armenian and Azeri FMs as an advance in the complicated but progressing Prague process. The meeting will offer a new opportunity for the talks with the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs." "In London the parties will discuss the details referring to the first stage of the Karabakh conflict settlement. They are viewed as a package in Azerbaijan," Tair Tagizade stated. In his words, the Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers will discuss the expediency of the meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents. The meeting is supposed to he held in February however the place and date will to all appearances be known after the London negotiations, reported FRE/RL.
