However, it is insufficient under the current conditions of large-scale and global problem," stated Advisor of the Armenian Minister of Agriculture Anushavan Aghajanyan. The Government intends to request a sum of $4-5 million from the World Bank to fight possible penetration of bird flu virus into the country, he remarked. In his words, Georgian has requested $15 million to that end. He also remarked that a program is composed, which indicates all problems Armenian specialists faced. The problems specifically include lack of equipment, protection clothing, need to retrain specialists.
