Armenian, Belarusian Prime Ministers discuss regional integration

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko met with the CIS premiers, including Armenia’s Tigran Sargsyan ahead of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Council meeting.

Welcoming the guests, Lukashenko urged to strengthen cooperation in the framework of the CIS. Stressing the importance of the free trade agreement, Belarusian leader also called to boost economic ties between the states.

On the sidelines of his visit, the Armenian Prime Minister also met with his Belarusian counterpart Mikhail Myasnikovich to discuss a possibility of manufacturing agriculture equipment in Armenia. Prospects of cooperation in regional integration, exchange of experience in nuke energy sector were also focused on, governmental press service reported.
