Vahagn Margaryan's solo first entry at Eurovision Young Dancers 2013

Armenia will for the first time ever be performing at Eurovision Young Dancers 2013, with Vahagn Margaryan’s solo dance Deadlock as the first entry.

Eurovision Young Dancers is open to solo dancers aged between 16 and 21, from countries of EBU Member broadcasters.

The new format features solo performances by each participant, then a ‘group dance’, for which the dancers are divided into two groups. The jury then selects a finalist from each group and the two perform a dance-off dual to decide the winner.

The aim of the contest is to provide a showcase for top-class contemporary artistic dance and bring the finest young dancers to international attention, in front of a large television audience.

Contestants from the following countries will be performing on June 14 in Polish city of Gdansk - Armenia, Belarus, the Netherlands, Sweden, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Poland, Norway, Slovenia and Germany.
