Mammadyarov: France Should Be More Active in South Caucasus
France should be more active in the processes taking place in the South Caucasus, Azeri FM Elmar Mammadyarov stated at a meeting with French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Roland Blatman, who is completing his diplomatic service. Mammadyarov specially noted the importance of restoration of stability and security in the region, as well as settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict "within the framework of international norms and principles and the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan." In his turn the Ambassador thanked the Azeri leaders for their assistance in his diplomatic service and hoped for peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict through efforts of the international community, reported Trendy agency.
