A previously unheard song by Lana Del Rey has appeared online, Digital Spy said.

The track - titled 'Beautiful Player' - surfaced over the weekend and claims to have been recorded in 2013.

The singer is currently recording the follow-up to her 2012 debut album Born To Die, which topped the UK chart and reached number two in the US.

Del Rey has revealed that her new collection will be "a little more stripped-down but still cinematic and dark".

The star recently released new single 'Young and Beautiful' as part of the Great Gatsby soundtrack.
