The Nagorno Karabakh Republic (Artsakh) President Bako Sahakyan sent a congratulatory address to the newly elected President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani.

“I am confident that your experience and knowledge will contribute to the efficient solution of problems that the Islamic Republic of Iran and its people face as well as to the overall development of the country.

Iran’s balanced position in the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict is highly appreciated in Artsakh, and we are confident that during your presidency the traditional ties between the two friendly nations will become stronger, contributing to the maintenance of peace and stability in the region and strengthening our states,” the Artsakh leader said, the Central Information Department at the Office of the Artsakh President reported.
