Armenia and Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is due to sign a transfer contract with Liverpool FC this week, according to media reports.

As a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent was told at Zvartnots airport, Thursday, June 20 at 6.10 pm local time the player will be taking a Yerevan-Moscow-London flight to the British capital.

Mkhitaryan became the winner of the Ukraine Cup as a part of Shakhtar, with 29 goals scored in 41 matches.
