Mkhitaryan doesn’t appear at Shakhtar training session, faces fine

The situation with Armenia and Shakhtar Donetsk FC midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s transfer becomes more obscure, a report says.

The fact is that, according to vesti.ua, the player did not appear at Shakhtar training session. Apparently, he came into a conflict with the club, unless he was absent for valid reasons, the report says.

According to Shakhtar general manager Sergey Palkin, there is no reason to justify the absence, as “Liverpool FC did not make any inquiry about the midfielder.”

“One thing is clear: Mkhitaryan did not arrive for the club’s practice session, although he was obliged to. If he doesn’t appear in the near future, we will have to impose a fine on him. He has no contract signed with Liverpool and I am sure that the reports on his alleged transfer are mere rumors,” Palkin said.
