Armenia Positively Assesses Continuation of Talks on Karabakh
"Although no agreement was achieved on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement the Armenian party positively assesses the continuation of the talks on the Karabakh conflict settlement by the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents in Rambouillet February 10-11," RA President's Spokesman Victor Soghomonyan told PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. When touching upon reports of Azeri media, he said Yerevan does not consider it advisable to comment of the statements by the Azeri side, since they refer to the details of the secret negotiation process and are often far from reality. Some publications of Azeri media are so unfounded that there is no point in commenting on them, Victor Soghomonyan said. He confirmed that on the eve of the Rambouillet meeting President Kocharian had a telephone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. The parties discussed the prospects of the conflict settlement.
