Zardusht Alizade: Resumption of Hostilities Impossible
Well known Azeri political scientist Zardusht Alizade excludes the possibility of resumption of hostilities between Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh. In his words, it's impossible. "Our army is not efficient enough for it. To understand this one can look at the residence the Chief of the General Staff has built for himself and look at the residence the Defense Minister is building," he said.

As for Azerbaijan's position on determination of Karabakh's status via referendum, Alizade said, "If the Azerbaijani authorities agree, they will introduce the technology known to them since the times of the Lisbon summit, which was marked out as "a victory of the Azeri diplomacy". They will convince us that the ceding of Karabakh in 15 years but not now is a historic victory, the political scientist said, reported Day.az.
