39 589 carats of diamond were produced in Armenia in January-May 2013 against 21 878 carats from the year-earlier period (81% growth).

According to the National Statistical Service, 516 kg of jewelry was produced during the reporting period against 553,5 kg in 2012 with 6,8% increase posted.
