A new poster has been released for Spike Lee's upcoming Oldboy remake, Digital Spy said.
The poster - which sees Josh Brolin emerging from a chest in the middle of a field - also features the handwriting of the star.
The handwriting is taken from letters that Brolin's character Joe Doucett writes in the film.
The film is an adaptation of Chan-wook Park's South Korean original and also stars Elizabeth Olsen, Samuel L Jackson and Sharlto Copley.
The original told the story of a man kidnapped and imprisoned for 15 years, and then given five days to find his captor upon release.
Speaking about the film last year, Olsen said that it will not shirk from showing scenes of extreme violence and that it will be "crazy" in "a great way".
The first trailer for the remake is expected to debut on Wednesday (July 10).
Oldboy will be released in the US on October 25 and in the UK on December 6.
