Android 4.3 confirmed as next version of OS, report says

Android 4.3 could be the next version of Google's mobile operating system, a certification listing by the Bluetooth Special Information Group (SIG) suggests, according to Digital Spy.

SIG recently certified a Google edition of the HTC One smartphone that was listed as running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

Google was initially believed to be working on Android 5.0 Key Lime pie as its next operating system, but this is not the first report that appears to confirm a new iteration of Jelly Bean.

Android 4.3 is expected to introduce Bluetooth 4.0 LE support to smart devices, enabling them to exchange data at a far swifter rate.

It was recently reported that the HTC One is in the process of receiving its Android 4.2.2 update over the air across Europe.

Google is yet to make an official announcement about its next mobile operating system.
