Erdogan: Confrontation in Iraq May Forebode Global Conflict
Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan urged the international community to do what they can to normalize the situation in the neighboring country. In his words, otherwise the confrontation in Iraq may forebode a global conflict. «If stopping collision on ethnic basis fails, it will be unfavorable to everyone. All peaceful tools should be used to their utmost in order to normalize the situation,» he said when addressing the session of the Justice and Development Party led by himself. In the Turkish PM's opinion, delay in that alarming situation can pour into very negative consequences. «Turkey comes for the fire broken out in Iraq be extinguished as soon as possible, before it spread to the right and left,» Turkish PM said, reported RIA Novosti.
