The Nagorno Karabakh Republic Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a working meeting on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the ministry’s establishment. NKR Foreign Minister Karen Mirzoyan, the senior staff of the Ministry, and the Republic’s Permanent Representatives to foreign countries attended the meeting.

The meeting focused on the implementation of tasks set before the Foreign Ministry, with the positive trend in the international recognition of the NKR stressed. It was also noted that the Foreign Ministry will continue efforts on ensuring the NKR’s full involvement in all the stages of the Karabakh settlement negotiations.

Those present underscored the importance of intensifying cooperation with foreign states and the Armenian Diaspora, while also raising awareness of Artsakh and Karabakh conflict settlement.

The issues of cooperation between the Foreign Ministry’s Central Office and the NKR Permanent Missions were also discussed at the meeting, the Ministry’s press service reported.
