Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa has unveiled its first clip, Digital Spy said.

The new teaser from Steve Coogan's comedy sees the DJ meeting with police officers in a bid to resolve a siege taking place at Partridge's radio station Shape.

Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa was written by Armando Iannucci, Neil Gibbons, Rob Gibbons and Coogan, and opens in UK cinemas on August 7.

It will hold its world premiere in Norwich on July 24 with Partridge in attendance. Coogan's comedy character will then travel to the London, Leicester Square unveiling by helicopter for a screening the same evening.
