Kristen Bell and the cast of Veronica Mars have revealed new behind-the-scenes footage from the upcoming movie, Digital Spy said.

Fans of the cult TV show raised millions via the crowdsourcing website Kickstarter in order to make a follow-up feature starring Bell, Jason Dohring, Enrico Colantoni, Francis Capra, Percy Daggs III and Ryan Hansen.

At this year's San Diego Comic-Con, showrunner Rob Thomas revealed that Bell's character "has not worked as a private detective since the last time you saw her".

He added: "Part of this movie is her getting back into this life she thought she left behind.

A five-minute video featuring new footage and cast interviews was screened for fans during the cast panel and Q&A.

The sneak peek was later uploaded to the official Veronica Mars Youtube channel.
