Motorola's Moto X smartphone has been glimpsed with a white casing in the latest leaked photo, Digital Spy said.

Posted onto Twitter by Evleaks, the handset in the picture appears identical to the phone Google chairman Eric Schmidt was spotted using last week.

The Moto X is expected to feature a 4.5-inch screen, a dual-core Qualcomm S4 Pro processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of on-board storage.

A 10-megapixel camera with a flash is said to reside on the rear of the phone and a 2.1-megapixel snapper on the front.

Google's Android 4.2.2 is rumoured to come pre-installed on the handset, with an update to the forthcoming Android 4.3 likely to be rolled out post-release.

The Moto X, which launches next month, has previously been spotted in black.
